You’re Not Stuck — You’re In A Cycle Completing Itself

There’s a moment on the healing path — sometimes many — where you’ll feel like nothing is working.
You’ve read the books. You've joined the workshops. You've learned the language of trauma, attachment, and parts. You even know when your nervous system is activated and which childhood wound is speaking…
And yet, here you are.
Still triggered. Still looping. Still exhausted from trying so hard not to be here.
Let me tell you something sacred — and I need you to hear this with your whole body:
You are not stuck. You are cycling.

Healing isn’t linear. It spirals.
This means you will revisit the same themes again and again — not because you’re broken, but because each time you do, you’re meeting them with a deeper level of awareness. What you once met with dissociation, you now meet with breath. What used to require collapse, now opens to compassion. What used to run your life unconsciously, now has a seat at the table — where it’s heard, held, and seen.
That is not stuck. That is movement.
It’s cellular. It’s slow.
It’s sacred.
We have to let go of the fantasy that healing means we never feel fear, anger, shame, or doubt again. Healing is not the absence of the wound. It’s the capacity to stay with it, without abandoning yourself. This is the difference between unconscious reactivity and conscious relating — between spiraling in shame and spiraling toward integration.
It’s not that your triggers disappear. It’s that they no longer dictate your choices. And that shift, however small, is a miracle. So, if today you find yourself facing the “same” pattern, the “same” response, the “same” pain — don’t shame it. Don’t make it mean you’ve failed.
Instead, pause.
Feel your feet.
Breathe into your belly.
Ask yourself: “How am I with this, today?”
Because that’s the true measure of growth:
Not what you do. But how you are with what is.
When you stop measuring your healing by how fast you “get over it,” and start honoring the rhythm your body needs to unwind, you’ll find something unexpected:
Grace.
Grace for the parts still learning safety.
Grace for the patterns that once protected you.
Grace for the slow, spiraling process of becoming someone new.
This is what freedom really looks like:
Not becoming someone else, but returning to the self you were before the world told you who to be.
So, no, sweet soul — you’re not stuck.
You’re remembering.
